Coffee Autumn Vibes

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s Autumn.

Mornings are feeling a lot cooler now, and the leaves are starting to change colour and fall, creating a carpet of oranges and reds.

It’s my favourite time of year, and it inspired me to make the Emily Brontë Autumn Mug. I wanted something that really captured the Autumn season, and this quote really sums it up nicely.

What is it?

I launched my Emily Brontë Autumn Quote mug in 2022. 

Inspired by the autumn colours, I drew a selection of Autumn leaves and foliage by hand on my digital tablet.

It initially began life as a bookmark. I used the leaves to create a border around the length of a bookmark, but I felt it needed a quote in the middle. I did some research, and the quote “Every leaf speaks bliss to me, falling from the autumn tree” is by the English literary icon, Emily Brontë; it just fit with my design vision.

It then evolved into the mug design you see now.

1. Hand-drawn

The leaves that border the top and bottom of the mug are hand-drawn by me on my digital tablet.

No AI used here (or on any of my products), making it a truly handmade product that you know came from a human being.

2. Colours that Pop

The mixture of orange, reds, yellows, and browns captures the warmth and cosy feelings of Autumn.

Since it is sublimated, the colours are enhanced; you will want to wrap your hands around this mug to warm them up after a crisp morning walk.

You can’t go through Autumn without dunking a ginger biscuit into a warming, hot drink!

And yes, I will admit it, I am a dunker.
